As a long time Cat Lover and Owner, I began to notice that as my Cats Matured it became more and more difficult to keep them Entertained. Most of the Cat Toys on the market utilizing Catnip are able to get the Cats attention well enough; however, most Cat Toys also Encase the Catnip thus Preventing Cats from actually Eating and Fully Enjoying their Favorite Treat!  How would You like to Smell your Favorite Food, but Never be Able to Eat It?  Realizing that My Cats wanted to Eat Catnip instead of Just Smell it or Just Play with it.

I began to think about a way they could do Both.  While giving them Loose Catnip definitely made them Happier, it also made a Mess and got Everywhere!  Within just a minute or two, there was none actually left in the bowl and they would look up at me for more (just as I was dragging out the Vacuum Cleaner, of course)!  After wasting a Ton of Catnip in the Vacuum and seeing Old Toys sitting in the corner, I thought, “There has to be something better! What All Cats need is a Toy that is Fun to Play with and Still Allows them to Actually Eat their Favorite Treat (without making a Big Mess)!”  After careful Formulation, Experimentation and Ecstatic Testing by Cats around the world, Pawbreakers were born - to the Delight of Cats and Cat Lovers alike!

E.A.T.s - Edible Animal Treats of Monroe, Michigan was founded as a Sole Proprietorship in August of 2003 and after about a year of Setup, Research/Development and Testing, began selling its Product (Pawbreakers!) online via www.pawbreakers.com in March of 2004.
